Prior to this she worked as a broadcast journalist at ABP Network covering areas of education, health, public administration and politics. She is also a post graduate in Mass Communication from Jamia Millia Islamia University and did her under-graduate degree in Journalism from Kamala Nehru College, Delhi University.
