Mukesh Agrawal served in India Police Service from 1989 to 2023 and retired on superannuation as Director General Of Civil Defence & Commandant General of Home Guards, Assam and Director, Fire & Emergency Services, Assam on 28th February, 2023. He has vast experience in investigation and crime prevention, law enforcement, maintenance of public safety and order demonstrating sound judgment in performing under pressure and tight timelines.
He possesses expertise in quickly analyzing evolving situations and using critical thinking to make effective decisions, complemented by excellent communication skills and a belief in owning responsibility.
He approaches each situation with alertness, sincerity, and concern demonstrating a talent for personal coordination. Above all, he values compassion. With his experience and skills, he is confident in his ability to excel in present position held in CRISP.

Mukesh Agrawal was awarded with number of Medals and Awards including (1) Police Medal for Meritorious Service, (2) President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service,(3) Chief Minister’s Police Medal for Outstanding Service and (4) Chief Minister’s Special Service Medal in a Crisis Situation.
