Born in Kolkata and raised in Delhi, Arjoma's interest in the area of Social Science led her to pursue B.A Political Science Honours from University of Delhi, Indraprastha college for Women and completed her Master's in Politics: International and Area Studies from MMAJ Academy of International Studies- Jamia Millia Islamia.
She has worked with organisations like Pravah (Delhi) Indian Political Action Committee (I-Pac). Further she has worked on pilot projects with various Non- Government Organisations like Parivartaan under Youth For Peace International which targeted towards Women empowerment those who were at the edge of poverty and prostitution and supplementing their lives with alternative sources of income. She has also worked with American Center, New Delhi in collaboration with Pravah on SRHR and Mental Health Issues among young adolescents. Arjoma wishes to pursue a career in the Indian Administrative Services and work towards Women Empowerment through economic uplifting in her state - West Bengal.
