Ibankyntiewlin Rynjah, is a Gold Medallist in Rural Development from the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM). With a deep interest in grassroots development, she began her career as a Teaching Assistant at USTM (2019–2021), where she was involved in planning and conducting educational activities, field visits, and community outreach programs focused on women’s literacy and empowerment.


Following this, she worked as a Young Fellow with the National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR), Hyderabad (2021-2024), under the “Project for Creating Model Gram Panchayats across India.” Her responsibilities included preparing reports for the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, documenting best practices, supporting Traditional Local Bodies in Meghalaya, and helping integrate Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into local planning and governance. Later, she joined CRISP as an intern for six months and was promoted to consultant, where she continued to apply her skills in rural development and governance. Driven by passion and purpose, she is dedicated to contributing toward inclusive and sustainable development. She see every role as a learning experience and an opportunity to create meaningful impact in the lives of people, especially in rural communities.
