Dr.K.Rama is Professor of Practice at Maulana Azad National Urdu University, one of the Central Universities located in Hyderabad. She has been an Adviser at the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Regional Director at National Council for Teacher Education ( NCTE) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and as Education Officer with the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).
At the international level worked with the United Nations Refugee Works Agency (UNRWA) / United Nations Education and Scientific Organisation (UNESCO) as Education Quality Assurance Officer and was Honorary Advisor to the Commonwealth of Learning (COL). She has contributed extensively in developing Quality Assurance tools for Higher Education and authored several reports and research publications.
