Founded by ten former Civil Servants with extensive experience in the social
sector, the Centre for Research in Schemes and Policies (CRISP) is dedicated
to strengthening government delivery mechanisms to drive large-scale
welfare improvements.
CRISP is neither an NGO, which operates at the micro level, nor a conventional
think tank that primarily provides intellectual inputs for policymaking.
Instead, it is a social organization committed to structural transformation.
Believing in the pivotal role of government in achieving large-scale social
change, CRISP recognizes that many governmental efforts fall short of their
full potential due to gaps in policy formulation, implementation, capacity
building, and public engagement. CRISP seeks to bridge these gaps and
enhance the effectiveness of social sector initiatives.
There should be no conflict of interest in an evaluation exercise.
Our evaluation starts with the scheme and continues as the project is implemented.
The evaluation is not a fault-finding exercise. Rather, it is a way to suggest ways to improve design and implementation. Failure is treated as a stepping stone for future success.
The evaluation is not perception-based and subjective. It captures the views of the stakeholders through suitable data tools and reach conclusions based on data analytics.
