Library Management Committees for Monitoring
Library Operations
According to a circular sent by RDPR
Department to libraries, Gram Panchayat (GP)
libraries are mandated to form management
committees. These committees, comprising
members such as the GP President,
Panchayat Development Officer (PDO-
GP level administrative head), teachers,
students, farmers, etc., are entrusted with
responsibilities of monitoring the library
operations and implementing measures to
enhance library user experience. However,
they are yet to be formed in the libraries
visited by the CRISP team.
During January 1st - 5th, Library
Management Committees were formed in Library Management Committee members in Taj Sultanpur
