CRISP envisions a nation where public schemes and social policies are designed and implemented in a participatory manner for the social and economic empowerment of the people, and the poorest in particular, and strengthen the bridge between policy intent and outcomes — enabling State governments, local governments, academic institutions, community organisations and civil society to co-create solutions that are effective, equitable, and sustainable.

To help Governments in designing policies using the collective experience of civil servants, learning from the best practices validated through field work, and bridging the gap between policy and on-ground outcomes by integrating appropriate technology, research & data analytics, and institutional capacity-building into the heart of governance.

Working with the leadership and all levels in Government, through high-quality and empathetic social sector professionals mentored by senior civil servants, for designing and adopting schemes and policies that enhance the effectiveness of governance, particularly covering the urban/rural poor disadvantaged, and while the ensuring socially such interventions are fully owned by the respective Governments.
Designing programmes for building capabilities of the personnel at all levels, governmental and non-governmental, in charge of implementing programmes.
Conducting rigorous, data driven studies on government schemes and social programs to identify what works and why, through a robust Monitoring, learning and Evaluation system.
